Police Interviews
- Briefing and support
- Attendance and representation
A member of our RTA Team will be available at any time to represent you with interviews with the police, whether at a police station or at your home.
We shall brief you beforehand, so that you fully understand your rights and do not disclose any information that may ultimately prejudice your case.
Understanding the law before the interview is vital, and your specialist road traffic solicitor will ensure that you do in the simplest of ways. Your solicitor will explain the types of questions that will be asked of you, and advise you whether to give a written statement, full comment or no comment interview.
We appreciate attending a police interview is a worrying time for you. By preparing you for the interview and letting you know what to expect will help you through this.
Our dealings with the Police are always cooperative, rather than antagonistic. We will ensure your interview is conducted in a fair manner, interrupting the interview if there is, for example, repetitive, hostile or irrelevant questions.
We appreciate that the police station interview is the first line of defence for any prosecution, and a positive interview and can alter the outcome of the case.
We offer a fixed fee for our police station interviews, and do not charge for travel time. (Click here to be taken to 'Our fees').
