MTA offer a complete service to lenders. Our specialist Mortgage Possession Team, working closely with both our Debt Recovery and Conveyancing Departments provide a comprehensive and streamlined service from letter before action through to possession, sale and shortfall recovery.
Using a bespoke case management system, and in accordance with agreed service level guarantees we will work in partnership with you to ensure the repossession process is as efficient and effective as possible.
Our service can also include pre-litigation arrears management by the agreeing and monitoring of payment arrangements with your borrowers who are prompted to try and deal with their arrears upon receipt of the letter before action. This service can also be offered following the granting of a Suspended Possession Order. Payments can be monitored for three months before returning the file to you. This ensures that any default is dealt with swiftly and effectively.
The Mortgage Possession Team are highly skilled litigators and will ensure that cases in which agreements cannot be reached or are defaulted upon, proceedings will be issued without delay.
In the event of an eviction being required, we will deal with all the formalities, including instructing a locksmith, and can also provide the services of our Conveyancing Department to deal with the sale for you ensuring a swift and seamless transition between possession and sale.
Finally, in the event of a shortfall, we can provide a comprehensive enforcement service drawing on the vast experience of our Debt Recovery Department to pursue every available method to ensure you make a maximum recovery.
